Does it work with Android?
No. The card runs on Apple Find My, so it needs an iPhone or iPad. On Android it will not pair at all — a Tile or a Chipolo card is the right buy there.
Is this live GPS tracking?
No card this thin carries GPS. It locates through Find My: nearby it rings and shows on the map, and further away its position refreshes each time an Apple device passes close to it. In built-up areas that is near-constant; somewhere empty, the map holds the last place it was seen.
What happens when the battery runs out?
You charge it. Two hours on any Qi or MagSafe pad gives up to five months (seller-stated). Cards with a sealed battery last one to two years and then the card itself is finished — this one is not built that way.
Do I need to install anything?
No. It is added in the Find My app that is already on your iPhone, the same way an AirTag is. There is no separate app and no account to create.
Are there monthly fees?
None. Left-behind alerts, the map and the ring are all part of Find My, which comes with the phone. Nothing here sits behind a premium plan.
Will it survive a wet pocket?
